Servo Motor and VFD Filters
The operation of PWM driven motors (servomotors and variable frequency drives (VFD)) causes a number of equipment problems, including damage to motor bearings due to leakage current, affecting electrical discharge machining (EDM) and motor insulation. PWM motors are also a major source of EMI in equipment.
